Limited Warranty

Dom Decor Studio provides a six-month complimentary service warranty on all labor and installation work. During this period, service visits and repairs are free of charge, provided the issue results from a genuine product or installation defect under normal use.

If the damage is caused by misuse, excessive force, or improper handling, the visit will be billed at the standard service rate — even within the first six months.

After the initial six-month period, all service visits — including inspections, adjustments, or repairs — are billable, unless the issue is confirmed to be covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. If the issue is not covered, a service call fee applies to cover technician time and travel.

Once the product has been approved and installed, any changes in preference, color, fabric, or style are not covered under this warranty.

Manufacturer Warranty

All products supplied and installed by Dom Decor Studio are covered under the official warranties of their respective manufacturers.
We partner exclusively with verified distributors whose warranties meet or exceed industry standards.

Manufacturer Coverage:

  • Lutron — up to 8 years on shade systems (including electronic drive units, shade fabric, and hardware) and 1 year on wall controls and system accessories.
    Coverage applies to manufacturing defects under normal use. Installation errors, misuse, or physical damage are excluded.
  • Insolroll — 10 years on interior solar and roller shade materials, clutch operators, spring systems, and accessories; 5 years on motors and electrical components.
    Warranty excludes damage caused by salt air, UV fading, or improper cleaning.
  • Somfy — 5 years on all motors, controls, and electronic accessories (excluding batteries).
    Warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal, intended use. Physical damage, electrical surges, and alterations void the warranty.
  • Coulisse — 3 years on motors and electronic accessories, 5 years on Somfy-integrated motorized components, and lifetime coverage on mechanical parts when used under normal residential conditions. Coverage begins on the date stamped on the motor or stated on the invoice. Warranty excludes wear, misuse, or environmental exposure.
  • Unique Wholesale Distributors — lifetime limited commercial warranty for custom blinds and shades. Components are covered for the lifetime of the original installation; cords are covered for 2 years, and motors/electronic accessories for 3 to 5 years, depending on the brand (Somfy, Coulisse, or Rollease).
    Warranty does not cover damage due to misuse, accidents, pets, insects, salt air, or relocation of products.

Warranty Claim Assistance

Dom Decor Studio will coordinate warranty claims directly with the manufacturer or authorized distributor on the client’s behalf.
However, if after inspection it’s determined that the issue is not covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, the service visit, diagnostics, and any repair labor will be billed at standard service rates.

Lutron Battery Replacement Policy

For Lutron motorized shades, the first battery replacement service is complimentary, regardless of when it’s needed.

Clients may choose to:
1. Provide their own batteries, or
2. Request that Dom Decor Studio supply and install them — in which case the client will receive an invoice for the materials only.

All subsequent battery replacement visits are subject to standard service rates, regardless of who provides the batteries.

Dry-Cleaning Assistance

Dom Decor Studio provides a paid pickup and reinstallation service for clients who wish to have their drapery professionally cleaned.
Our team will carefully remove the drapery, deliver it to the client’s chosen dry cleaner, and reinstall it once cleaning is complete.

Please note:

  • The choice of dry cleaner is the client’s responsibility.

  • Dom Decor Studio assumes no liability for any damages or outcomes resulting from third-party cleaning services.

  • Removal, transportation, and reinstallation are billed at our current service rates.

Complimentary Services (First 6 Months)

• On-site inspection and adjustments
• Repairs due to verified defects in installation or product function
• One-time complimentary battery replacement visit for Lutron products

Service Call Policy

If a technician visit reveals that the issue is unrelated to product quality or manufacturing defects — for example, caused by improper operation, accidental damage, or third-party interference — a service call fee will apply to cover technician time and travel.
